知道 who / which / that 可以用來補充名詞資訊。
知道 look、feel、sound、seem、become 後面常接形容詞。
分辨什麼時候該接形容詞,什麼時候該接完整子句。
關係子句像是在名詞後面補一句「就是那個……的」。連綴動詞則是在說一個人或東西「看起來、聽起來、感覺上怎麼樣」。
The boy who is wearing glasses is my cousin. 戴眼鏡的那個男生是我表弟。
The soup smells good. 這湯聞起來很香。
The book that I bought is interesting.
She looks tired. / The music sounds beautiful.
be / look / feel / sound / seem / become
The student who very smart is Amy.
The student who is very smart is Amy.
關係子句裡也要有完整句子結構。
She looks happily.
She looks happy.
look、feel、sound 這類連綴動詞後常接形容詞。
The dog I saw yesterday was cute.(初學階段易混)
The dog that I saw yesterday was cute.
初學時先保留 that / who / which 會更清楚。
解析:who 子句裡要有 be 動詞 is。
解析:taste 是連綴動詞,後面接形容詞 sweet。
解析:在指人時,初學階段可優先用 who。
解析:sound 後面接形容詞。
解析:用 who 補充 teacher 的資訊。
