如果現在是 am / is / are，那過去就常常變成 was / were。
主詞配對
I / He / She / It + was
You / We / They + were
例如：I was tired yesterday. / They were at home last night.

常見錯誤
錯誤 1：I 配 were
I were busy yesterday.
I was busy yesterday.
I 在過去式要配 was。
錯誤 2：they 配 was
They was at school.
They were at school.
They 是複數，要配 were。
錯誤 3：問句順序沒調整
You were happy?
Were you happy?
be 動詞問句要把 was / were 放到前面。
