白話解釋
片語動詞是動詞和副詞或介系詞組合成的新意思，固定片語則是幾個字固定搭在一起，不能單獨翻譯。
例子
give up：放棄
look after：照顧
take care of：照顧

常見錯誤
錯誤 1：把片語動詞當成單字直譯
She gives up the book.
She gives up. / She gives the book to someone else.
錯誤 2：沒有用好固定片語
He is good in English.
He is good at English.
錯誤 3：把片語動詞拆開
Please turn the light off.
Please turn off the light.

look after + 人 / 物
