白話解釋
複合句是由一個主句和一個或多個從屬子句組成；倒裝句是把句子順序調整，強調句型則用特殊結構把重點放在要強調的部分。
複合句例子
I will go if it does not rain.
強調句型例子
It is my sister who won the prize.

錯誤 1：從屬子句缺少連接詞

正確句型
if + 主詞 + 動詞, 主句
If it rains, we will stay home.
when / because / although + 子句
Because it is cold, I wear a coat.
特殊問句：疑問詞 + be / 助動詞 + 主詞
Why are you late?
強調句型：It is + 強調部分 + that + 其他
It is my sister who helped me.

- When the bell rings, class will start. 當鐘響時，上課就開始。
- Because he studied hard, he passed the exam. 因為他用功，他考試及格。
- Why did you come late? 你為什麼遲到？
- Never have I seen such a difficult exam. 我從未看過這麼難的考試。
